Back from hiatus!
We are back from Hiatus. It wasn't a planned one, just one that seemed to happen! Let's catch up!
Speaking in Sentences - King Working on Sentences has begun to string together 2-4 word sentences. Some of the things you might hear around Oz include "Hunter, hockey book peas" (we are working on please and thank you!); "Mommy, hockey stick peas"; "Daddy, Hockey game"...are you catching the pattern? It is definitely there. His first sentences are about hockey....yay me.
Speaking of the King?! - King Coughs a lot was sick over the long holiday weekend (as you will remember from my last update). So guess who is on antibiotics in Oz? Try again! It is Mr Oz who is down with Brochitis and a Sinus Infection! In fact..he felt so lousy (and didn't want to "share" his cooties) that he stayed home from Hockey this weekend!
Speaking of Hockey - The holiday hockey break is over...which means it was back on the road for the travel hockey player. The prince played three penalty-free games in Cinti and Dayton over the weekend. They lost two, and won one. Enjoyed the trip with the Prince and the King, and truly enjoyed hanging with my eldest niece and nephew-in-law (thanks for the hospitality!) all weekend! T'was fun!
Speaking of Illness and Travelling - With hockey starting back up, it means that the ol' Christmas tree might have to wait at least another couple of days to come down. Since Mr. Oz and the King were sick over New Years, and since I am back on the road with the hockey kiddo....with any luck the tree will come down before the end of the month. What about this weekend you ask? Well......we are in Chicago, with a trip to West Virginia the weekend following....are you seeing my "hell"?
All that being said.....life is moving on at its own pace, which is crazy. Here are a few pics from the last week (see...I was thinking about y'all...I just didn't manage to get anything up!"
