With a hearty...

With a hearty hug for his brother, and for his Mom too, the cadet wandered towards security at our local airport...back to school...and with any luck....back to normal.















The (now) veteran traveler did incredibly well, given that this was his first commercial flight pairing (home and back) ever (he had only ever flown Corporate private)...first trip through ORD (both here and back), first time to put himself on a standby flight (bummer that he didn't make it!), and first time dealing with a Cancelled Flight 350 miles away from home in the world's busiest airport. First time racing to the gate to make sure that he can get on the next flight (he made it!)....then going to call his Mom to tell her change of plans. Sigh. My little guy...ain't so little anymore....
