Okay...so I "ain't" the best...
Okay, so I ain't the best at blogging with regularity of late! Things here haven't been all that crazy....just normal life stuff! Between work, homework, and playing with the walkinator...dinner, cleaning, laundry, and the like....well....all you women out there know the drill. Sometimes life just escapes you!
This week is going to be a crazy one. Hunter started a skating clinic last evening so is back on the ice. It ends in mid-June..right before he heads out to Military School Summer camp. He is also running track two days a week (the 400....a distance runner??!) which makes for a homework crunch every week! This week also holds a trip to Howe Military for Dean's Alumni weekend. We haven't been able to attend since we moved here, as Alumni weekend is typically scheduled for the first weekend in May. The fastest 2 minutes in sports is always held the first Saturday in May...and we usually have tickets to at least a portion of it...therefore they have always conflicted. This year...the first weekend to Howe is the 29-1st...to the sporting event..the first Saturday in May is the 7th...(which is the latest it could ever occur!). Therefore..we get to do both! Tonight Dean and I are heading downtown to a great Jazz Restaurant and Club to meet up with cousin Greg Roy. Should be awesome, as I haven't seen him in years and years! Lots of catching up to do! Not taking the kids...will take pictures...they are more amenable to catching up!
So...between packing, cleaning, schedules, homework, work, etc., you can see where my time runneth out on a lot of days.
Hence..."I ain't the best" at catching you all up with regularity about the goings on in Oz! Sorry!
