The First Saturday in May

Tis the First Saturday in May. For those who are not familar with what that REALLY means...tis time for the Kentucky Derby. The day before the First Saturday in May is always known as Kentucky Oaks day......where the 3 year old fillies run for the garland of Lillies....and the Oz Family was there.

The day was a BEEEE-YOU-TIFUL one, without question. With an Oaks post time high of about 74, little humidity, and a slight breeze..it couldn't have been a better weather day at the track. (Crowd estimates were around 110,000 folks!).

Mr. Oz, Mrs. Oz and the oldest Oz Child enjoyed sitting out in the sunshine, enjoying the company of friends Sara and Antonio..betting the ponies....and eating crap track food.

Lots of laughs, lots of fun looking at the beautiful hats, and lots of "Go Horse 4". Ahhhh.......this is what spring is all about.
