I am coming to you...

am coming to you..
I am coming to you from....Prince Hockey-Boy's computer! Yup...mine is totally harshed at this point..with lots of error messages, reboots, and the like. It is virus free, but it is totally messed up....so as such, I have glommed the thirteen year olds computer to blog!

Whew...things have been as busy as ususal! Posted the pics below last Friday with the intention of blogging after posting...which of course is when the 'puter started acting up again!

Hockey is in full swing with 4 games over the past weekend. Saturday dawned early with a trip to Bloomington Indiana to play a great team. The kids got their lunch handed to them, mostly by one phenom on the other team (who accounted for 11 of their 13 goals over the course of the two games). Spark had a great two game series though, playing both forward and defense, and putting out some great (and legal!) hits! Then it was back home...where Mr Oz and I decided we were too tired at that point to head out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary (17 years!). A quick call to rearrange the babysitting situation....and an early night ensued...because...

Sunday dawned early too...with games against Dayton OH (played here at home!) starting at 9:00. After losing their lunch the day before, the boyz were hungry! As such..they proceeded to eat the lunch of the Dayton team, and some of their dinner as well. First game ended 10-4, with the second game of the day ending....15-0 (although thankfully, the scorekeeper stopped putting it up on the board at 7-0...) The coach reined in the kids..requiring passes, etc., but the other team was just worn out by the relentless attacks by our kids. (On a side note, our kiddos were very sportsmanlike with the other team, not gloating, etc!)

After the games were over...it was back home to get ready to go out (sans kiddos!) to celebrate our anniversary. Had a wonderful dinner...and wandered through a few stores (Walmart, Target and the like) without the relentless "Can I get Can I get" from the thirteen year old. All in all, a successful weekend!

Monday brought me in front of a large client group at work. Seems our president scheduled a presentation without remembering that it was Rosh Hashanah, which means..no work... That being said, I am the second most knowledgable person in our office on things like HSAs, HRAs, MSAs, MRPS, and other pieces of the alphabet soup of retirement. So there I stood, in front of 26 Doctors, explaining their benefits, and the benefits of doing limited purpose HRAs in conjunction with HSAs, and whether dual choice ppos make sense tied to HDHP's. (Head swimming yet?!)
Whew...made for a crazy work day on Monday (as the presentation was at 6:00 p.m. and had to be created on Monday..then practiced, etc.)

Therefore, last night..I basically hit a wall and crashed. Didn't really accomplish much....just played with the kiddos...stared at the TV and tried to fix the 'puter.

Fun fun huh!

That being said...I will catch you up on King "I am a repeater!" and his vocab antics...

New Words
Hockey (sounded clearly...Hock-Key)
Lul You (Love you)
Hunt (okay..that is obvious!)

He doesn't talk a whole ton...still babbles quite frequently...but is very clear on what he wants..and loves to repeat whatever anyone else is saying (or trying to repeat!). I tell ya...it is fun!

Have a great day!
