Ahhhhh....a short week

I have always looked forward to the week of Thanksgiving. Whether it be when I was in school, or in my working career..the week of Thanksgiving always brought the promise of a 4-day weekend, as well as lots of great family and food!

This year, we made the decision to stay home for Thanksgiving. The family taht will be around our dinner table will be just the immediate family, with "extended" family stopping by later in the evening for dessert (and even better...bringing the dessert!!!). For the first time in my married life of 17 years, I will be cooking the feast for Mr. Oz, the Prince and the King. Here's hoping the turkey turns out well....
