Wife Wanted

As I sit here in the silence, drinking a cup of coffee and catching up on the news, I look around and realize that I didn't get the one thing I needed for Christmas...a wife.

There are dishes in the sink, a messy floor in the kitchen, garbage to be taken out, presents to be sorted from the holiday, toys to be weeded through so that new toys can come out, beds to be changed, catchup (and regular!) laundry to do, grocery shopping to be done, bills to be written out and mailed (don't get me started on the Xmas cards sitting on the pool table waiting to go out!), rooms to be picked up, vacuums to be run, and so on, and so on....

So while I had a wonderful Xmas and got lots and lots of nice presents, I didn't get the wife that I wanted.....sigh.
