Still no word
Still no word from the Cadet. Their email is not yet up (should hopefully be by tomorrow..they were faced with connection issues, weather, etc), and the Cadet doesn't yet seem to have put pen to paper to write his loving Mom....even though there have been multiple letters from us...two care packages...and so on and so on.... Hmmm...perhaps Mom should send a veiled threat...okay...not so veiled....perhaps a letter that says "WRITE HOME OR WE WILL RAT YOU OUT TO YOUR TAC OFFICER"....
King "Where's Brubby" continues to miss the Cadet and continues to try to find him under blankets, hiding in rooms, etc. Several times he has brought the phone to Mom or Dad and said "Call Brubby". We knew it would be difficult for him...and it is proving to be true. Of course, when Mom writes the Cadet, the King writes the cadet.....so the Cadet is definitely "top of mind" for the King.
Not too much to report any where else. The usual round of chores and to do lists...cleaning, cooking..ya know....Mom's Life! Sometimes it is good to have "same old same old".
