Had a great visit....

Had a great visit up north with the Cadet. The King, of course, was very excited to see his brother, not wanting to leave his side at any time....

Arrived Friday evening at around 8:30, to find that the Soccer team had not yet returned from their away game. Seems that a cadet was hurt, and the team bus was used to transport him to the hospital for stitches. (No..not our cadet). Hung out on campus for a couple of hours, talking to several of the TAC officers to determine how the Cadet was doing...which seems to be "great". After spending the weekend with him, we would concur. He is happy to be there, involved in everything he can get his hands on (or around), and busily working on Academics (for the first time in his academic career!). Here is a quick summary of the weekend....

The team returned around 10:30, and our Cadet was one of the first to exit the bus...having seen his brub running around in front of B Company. A quick reunion of brubs, and it was lights out for the Cadet..so off we went to the Hotel (where it was very quickly lights out for the King).

Saturday dawned with us being able to take him out on Pass. A trip to the local amish community, the local Walmart and Lunch (as well as dinner), then it was back to campus to hang out for a few minutes before heading off to a motivational speaker. (The Ozlanders didn't attend, as it would have been too difficult to corral the King in an auditorium environment)...

Sunday involved parents meetings, new cadet ceremonies, a parade, then lunch out before three of the four Ozlanders headed back home....but plenty of pics were taken....so enjoy.

Great pics! Boy, when did the Cadet get so grown up?

And apparently you now have a well-practiced assistant when it comes to organizing all the Oz closets!
