Wow..where did the week go?
I logged in to blog and realized that it has been since Monday! Where did this week go?! Sheesh!
Anyhoo...things here have been WET to say the least. Over the past 24 hours, we have registered upwards of 8" of rain. Parts of the city are flooded (we are dry), and most of the city
is without electricity (of course..our underground utilities means..we still have electricity..yea!). For the most part, today was a hibernate inside day....as the storms were just "raging". The King, of course, spent the better part of the day singing his favorite rain song and staring woefully out the window at a lost opportunity to go "ouside pay". If I heard "rain rain go away..come again another day....little Kingy wants to pay...rain rain go away"...once..I heard it a hundred times. Of course..when the thunder and lightning was raging..I also was serenaded to "THUNDER.. AH AH AH AH AH AH AH AH AH" (It is weird to hear AC/DC coming out of the mouth of a two year old.....but it is also pretty funny......for those not "in the know"..the song he is singing is AC/DC thunderstruck)
So.......all in all..a quiet day!
