What's This? Seriously? A re-run from last year?
What is this? A picture of the Prince from last year? Nope. A picture of the Cadet from today. Despite not having been on the ice for 
8 months, the Cadet was asked to fill in on the team he would have been on had he not headed out to become..well..the cadet! They were playing in Dayton...so we drove up (the trip was 12 hours start to finish...sigh...I don't miss that!)...and he suited up...and he played.
How did he do? It looked like his last time on ice was.....two days ago. He ratcheted two penalties (first game, team lost 7-1), 1 goal (second game), 2 assists (second game) and they tied the second game 3-3.
The Cadet thoroughly enjoyed himself......but I think it is because he had been gone for so long from the sport..that it was again fun! (And it was fun watching him!)
