One way..or another.....it's gonna getcha getcha..getcha getcha getcha getcha
The Hobbled Cadet called last evening. He had his followup Drs appt to ensure that his knee is healing well. Hmmm....it doesn't appear to be healing a'tall yet. In fact, there is more swelling, as well as extensive swelling at the ankle. The Doc ordered an MRI for Friday Morning, as he believes there is more damage than originally thought...or perhaps there is a dislocation that wasn't visible on the Xray.
Whadda dilemma.
Do we bring him home and have our favorite physician here order an MRI, as well as coordinate a pediatric orthopedic dude to make sure everything is okay? OR...do we let them do the MRI on Friday (we will be up there Friday evening), then if any medical care (like surgery, or anything like that) be required bring him home. (Pediatric Orthos are few and far between up there!). I talked to his Doc here who said...."we can fast track it if you bring him home..or you can leave him there and we can pull the MRI results and review here"....hmmmmmmm
