Its a Crazy Busy Day....
Today has already been a crazy busy day - but it also has been a good one. So far I have:
- Showered and dressed for work.
- Woke up the little one and made him ready for his day
- Woke up the teenager and shooed him into the shower
- Gulped down a cup (okay..two!) of coffee while waiting on the teen
- First aided his cast abrasions
- Popped everyone in the car to head to the airport
- Checked in the Cadet
- Watched him go through security
- Went to the United Counter and totally "mom'd" him by having the check-in dude call back to the gate to ensure that he arrived safe and sound. (His knee is twinging on him and causing him stomach churning feelings...making him find the nearest wall to find his bearings). I am sure when the gate agent had him raise his hand to ensure he was at the gate..he wondered what the heck??? But that's okay..I am a momma!
- Popped the King back in the car and came back home
- Made breakfast for the king and myself and scarfed it all down.
- Wrote this blog!
Next up:
- Off to the Ped. Ortho to have the King's cast removed (and boo boo bear's too).
- Drop the King off at Daycare
- Head into work for a full day (we have a major event I am planning for Friday)
- Ensure the safe arrival of the Cadet at school (via O'hare again!)
- Pick up the King from Daycare
- Head home to clean, launder, and get the house generally picked up (after dinner of course)
And all of this while Mr. Oz is in Houston for work! (He left yesterday morning..via planes trains and automobiles - a flight cancelled, a bus ride to a different airport, an arrival 6 hours after he thought he was going to...you road warriors know the drill!)
Crazy. Busy. I told ya!
