We are back..

The King and I did a one day round trip yesterday to take the Cadet back to school. Mr. Oz is off in Houston for work, so the travel duties fell squarely on my shoulders. Made for a really long day, but we managed! Of course, today I feel like the walking wounded - thoroughly wiped out after a busy weekend of getting up at 6:00 a.m or earlier, after a week of getting up at 5:30, and getting up at 5:30 this morning. Good thing I love coffee huh - right now, nothing sounds more interesting to me than hopping back into bed for about 4 more hours though!

The Cadet's doctor's appointment on Monday was a great success. The orthopaedic specialist fully released him and said "your knee is good to go". He can fully run, jump, and play sports. I think he was planning on playing his first baseball game last night! (The team gained the conference championship last week and I know this sports kiddo was dying to get on the field). The knee healing only took..oh...almost 4 months, but I think we have accomplished what we set out for - a total heal!
