Forgiveness....

Somebody was running in a busy parking lot late this afternoon..which caused his mom much consternation. Upon corralling him, his Mom was very upset and told him so as she put him in the car. "I am not happy" his Mom said, "not happy at all. You put yourself and Mommy in danger... we could have been hurt by the cars". His Mom repeated that she wasn't happy two or three more times. "I want you to be happy" that little somebody said. "I can't be happy when you could get hurt" Mommy replied. Then dead silence. For about 35 seconds. In a quiet little somber voice, that little somebody said "Do you forgive me Mommy?" And after Mommy got over the shock of hearing such grown up words from such a small boy, she smiled gently at the little face in the back seat....

Yes King...I forgive you.

He is growing by leaps and bounds...vocabulary and stature....my little baby may only be three..but sometimes he is such an old soul.
