Four year old musing

The king, sitting on the couch last night, was intently studying his pointer finger. Mr. Oz and I heard him quietly say to said finger "you are too short", then watched him pop his middle finger up next to it. Giving that knowing look and slight smile between parents, we continued to watch him - and he looked up and said "Mom, why is this finger so short?". Sorry, King, got no answer for that one, but it is neat to watch you try out your four year old logic!
