Looking at the Calendar...

In looking at our calendar for the next month, I have realized another parental truism to go along with my previous list.    Scheduling conflicts are a matter of life.  (Yeah, I know you all already knew this - but it is just becoming a "truism" to me!)

I note that EVERYTIME the King has a soccer game or practice, the Cadet has a baseball game.

I see that the King's preschool graduation just might conflict with the Cadet's Junior/senior ring ceremony.

I see that my trip to the mental hospital will conflict with all of the above.  I'm just sayin.  (To coin a phrase from my sister over at Casa DeDuckfeet)

Magnets. Some events/days are like magnets. They attract other events to them, causing calendar-cluster. The more significant the event, the more magnetic it is, and the more it attracts other heavier events to it. Once one or more days in a week become magnetic, the whole week starts to attract everything. Multiple weeks causes a whole month to be magnetic. That's where I am right now....

That's my theory anyway. I'm sure it's a corollary of something buried in an obscure extension of Einstein's general relativity theory, connecting pieces relatingto gravity and the interaction of space and time. I just haven't had time to go find it and connect the dots yet, alas putting my Nobel prize for physics-for-the-commoner on hold...
I LOVE THIS MAGNET THEORY! (Leave it to Carol to figure it out....)
