Soccer Fun

The fall soccer season is back underway, and of course, the King is in the thick of it. Thought I would share a few pictures from yesterday a.m.'s game - because you can never have enough pictures of 5 year olds paying soccer right?? Okay, so I recognize that statement is subject to interpretation! Grin.

The King, now in his 3rd season, as begun to understand the value of "hanging back", or more importantly....staying out of the crowd in "kick and chase" soccer. (He is #8 above). He has learned that when you are outta the crush, you end up with the ball...and usually a breakaway shot on the goal. Which he found shortly after this pic was taken - shot taken...shot scored.

Hmmmm....only three of the five have a clue where the ball is...huh. And the king definitely recognizes that he can't use his hands...hence the "I surrender" position.
