Twenty-Ten, or Two Thousand Ten...Potato, or Potahto...

It seems that there is a brewing controversy about the year that we just ushered in. The controversy seems mundane, and quite frankly, very simple.  Is the year "Twenty-Ten" or is it "Two thousand ten" (or the more grammatically correct "Two Thousand and Ten").  


So my burning question to you today, my gentle blog reader, is...is it Potayto or Potahto?  I mean seriously, with so much else in the "World" today to worry about, does an "official" way to announce the year truly matter?
