Kickin Butt...Taking Names

The King took part yesterday in his first wrestling tourney of his season.  He was a little behind because of the three weeks worth of "brokeness" with this hand, so as you can imagine, he was as nervous as a cat in a room of rocking chairs.  

First Match of the Season?  Win by pin. 

Second Match?  Win by points 14-6

Off to the Finals where he came across an outstanding wrestler - and I mean outstanding! The King lost by pin in the second period and learned a valuable life lesson - "just when you think you rock - along comes someone who rocks hard. :   

The verdict?  The King took second!  Not too shabby in a eight man bracket!!
