Then we stumbled upon Metropolis Illinois....home of ....of course...Superman. Yes..their local newspaper is named The Daily Planet, and yes, their police and firemen shoulder patches depict the man of steel..and yes...their town motto is Truth Justice and the American Way..and finally..yes.....their native son is depicted on their courthouse lawn (not the Prince....the Man of Steel!)
