The Curse of the Northern Cadet
The Curse of the Northern Cadet has been lifted. Since his return home, the temperature has warmed up over 30 degrees in one day (from the mid-twenties and snow...to the mid fifties...and NO SNOW). Plus..we are looking at sixties by the weekend!
I remember as a kid Mom or Dad being gently accusatory to our eastern or Minnesotan family members when they would come for a visit and bring snow and cold or whatever. Or when our Georgian relatives would swing through...and a blast of heat and humidity would follow. Now I get to be gently accusatory! Thanks for leavin Cadet and taking some of the crap back with ya!
Plus..the folks up at school ought to be happy, because it seems his trip home carried back some fine Mid-South air up into the freezer...they are in the upper and mid thirties!
