It is official - certified with the Orthopedic Surgeon. It's broken (the thumb), and there is tendon injury too. It is just like a "ski pole" break and injury (where your downhill pole plants and you race past it without letting go!). He will be casted for 4 weeks, then PT to rehab the thumb to not lose mobility in it.

The doc just shook his head - said "Princess..you play too hard" and was glad to know that there is another Oz family member who likes sports (per the King "I pay baseball too. I am really good") as he has at least one more kiddo to put through Graduate School (the Princess is already paying for one to go though).
